Anyone who travels to another state needs to know the best places for dining, shopping, sightseeing and setting up lodging. No one wants to spend their entire vacation using a map or yellow pages. One of the best ways for making everything run smoothly is by knowing ahead of time. This is a terrific guide to one of the most popular malls in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Glenbrook Square Mall
Shopping around town is a fun thing to do on vacation. One of the best places for shopping is Glenbrook Square Mall. It’s the biggest mall in the area and the only enclosed one of its size. This mall provides everything you need from restaurants to specialty stores on two levels, an upper and lower. Shoes, clothing, novelties, jewelry and personal items are just a few things you can find at the mall.
Most malls seem like mazes and you can get lost in the crowds of shoppers. A great feature of Glenbrook is the maps located all around the mall. With starting points and entrances at Sears and JC Penny, you’ll have an easier time exiting after you’ve finished shopping.
Shopping makes anyone tired and hungry. Grab a bite on either level. Full service restaurants, ice cream shops and small vendors are located all around the mall. The Apple Glen Food Court resides on the lower level. Sbarros, Taco Bell, Sarku Japan and other restaurants make their homes there. The upper level features Red Robin and TGI Fridays.
Don’t worry about entertaining the kids. The mall houses two kid-friendly play areas. The newest addition, the Double-Decker Carousel, is on the lower level, near the food court. The Soft Play Area is front of The Gap and Build-A-Bear. There is a slide, hollow log, river, and other fun things for kids.
Take time out on your vacation and visit Glenbrook Square Mall. It’s nice place for spending a day of shopping and dining.
